It would probably solve the little dip on the dyno but I don't think the engine would stop surging at the lower rpms when the auto shifts and forces the engine to move a ton of air that the heads can't move. You have to remember that it's an auto so when the rpms drop the boost pressure doesn't vent out of the manifold like a manual transmission. Plus, with the bigger housings he wouldn't even be able to get out of the hole without NOS. I remember when I had the sport 700's with the .86 housings it was incredibly laggy. Can you imagine how laggy a turbo this massive would be? The only way the bigger housing would work is if we go with the TH400 and a 6000 rpm stall. That will be the route we go if the SZ auto fails at higher power levels. We will be adding the anti-surge housings and change the shift points to where the engine will not fall below the surge line. I'm very confident that will solve the problem. It did when he was surging with his old 3071 set-up.
